Artwork and Printing Specifications.

Use the information below as a guide for preparing your artwork for printing however please speak to your sales representative or our artwork department to discuss any unique requirements relating to your job.

Screen Printing - Bleed.

Depending on the type of product being produced and the type of ink being used bleeding may or may not be possible. As a rule it is best to stop all artwork 1mm from all crease and score lines and from weld seams. There are exceptions to this rule but you will need to discuss this with your sales representative.

Printing on Coloured Stock.

As we print on a wide variety of coloured stocks it can be difficult to get an exact match to a PMS colour however every effort is made to match as close as possible. It may be required with some artwork to run a seperate pass of white to enable us to closely match PMS colours. We will inform you of this if it is the case before the job goes into production.

Artwork Printability.

If you are unsure about how well your artwork will print we are happy to help, during the process of creating your artwork you can send us a PDF of your art and we will be more than happy to advise you about potential problems.

Printable Colours and Halftones.

Any Gradient, shading effects or a percentage of colour less than 100% will result in a visible halftone dot appearing on the finished product. If you are unsure about how this would affect the look of the finished product please discuss it with your sales representative.

Film Seperations.

If you are able to supply us with film you are more than welcome to however you must supply us with film for all colour seperations. You will also need to discuss this with your sales representative beforehand to minimise the need for costly changes.
